Calvary Chapel Plano Women's Ministry has written Bible studies which are available for purchase by individuals or churches. These studies are geared toward women. We have longer, more in-depth verse-by-verse studies, as well as short topical studies which we have used during the summer.
We are only able to keep a small inventory of these books; larger orders will require extra time to have them printed. The price per book does not include shipping or credit card fees.
To order, e-mail [email protected] or call the church office at 972-516-8851.
Your Day In Court
A four-week topical study of salvation, looking at the gospel from a legal perspective. Lessons remind us that we all stand condemned and deserve death, but when Jesus died on the cross, justice was served. When we accept this free gift of salvation, we are legally pardoned.
An eight-week verse by verse study of one of the most beloved chapters in the Bible. Psalm 91 addresses the promises of safety and security we are privileged to have as God’s children—truths that will sustain us during fearful times as we dwell under His loving protection.
The ACTS of the Apostles
A 31-week in-depth study of the book of Acts, which is an account of the work of the Holy Spirit in and through the early church. Each lesson includes one or more ‘challenge’ questions for those who desire to dig deeper.
A Fruitful Garden
Jesus used garden analogies to illustrate truths about God, the Word and the believer. He compares man's heart to soil where the seed of God's Word is sown. The sower hopes for fruitfulness from His garden. These skits highlight the truths we learn from the comparisons between gardening and our spiritual lives. Skits corresponding to these studies can be found at www.retreatinabag.net.
The Holy Spirit: His Person, Promise & Power
An 8-week study of the Holy Spirit based on the teachings of Calvary Chapel; covering the Person of the Holy Spirit, living in the Spirit, the fruit of the Spirit, and the primary gifts of the Spirit. An optional ninth lesson, “Finding Your Spiritual Gift” as well as a Spiritual Gifts Assessment (adapted from an online version) helps women determine their spiritual gifts.
Habakkuk “The Comfort of God’s Sovereignty”
An 8-week in-depth study of the book of Habakkuk. Habakkuk has questions; God's answers were not what he expected. But the prophet chooses to live by faith and rejoice in the Lord. We think we want answers sometimes, but what we really want to know is that God knows what is going on, hears us, and has a plan. He is on His throne, and that in itself is comforting!
Haggai “Consider Your Ways!”
An 8-week in-depth study of the four prophecies in the small book of Haggai. Haggai spoke to the remnant of Jews who had returned to Jerusalem after the 70-year Babylonian exile. He sought to combat apathy by inspiring action. He reminded the people of their spiritual priorities by his repeated exhortation: “Consider your ways!” Each lesson contains a “Consider Your Ways” personal application section.
